It is not a coincidence that this
particular quote is often used by people and organizations when either giving
or asking for help. The Ecumenical Center, as a non-profit organization, is no
different. With our annual operational budgets fully dependent on support from
outside sources, and our programming often organized and/or staffed by
volunteers, it is our hope that if you are reading this, you may consider
supporting us, either financially or through volunteering for the cause.
We believe that our past is
deserving of sophisticated and innovative programming, our present calls for
it, and the only way to fully believe in our collective future is if we all
work together to find a common ground and help those who need us the most.
However, it is your help and support that will make this dream and this vision
possible. The Ecumenical Center was founded four decades ago, by a group of
inspiring men and women led by the legendary Father Richard Mauthe. That same
vision and hope lives today, and we ask that you join us in this journey,
either as a benefactor of or volunteer for our cause and in service of our
collective future.
