Welcome to the Ecumenical Center, a non-profit organization that operates within the
scope of the University of Wisconsin at Green Bay, and serves its
students, faculty and staff, as well as members of the local
communities in their pursuit of self-discovery and spiritual
exploration.
Nationally recognized as a unique model for bringing all faith
traditions together, The Ecumenical Center aspires to intertwine
peoples' diverse paths through experiences that will offer them
spiritual and personal growth. Regardless of one's personal background,
we work to develop opportunities that will take those we serve on a
journey of self-discovery; a voyage that will either strengthen already
acquired beliefs, help identify new ones, or simply assist in their
pursuit of truth about themselves and about the world around them.
We hope to develop authentic individuals, strong men and women who
will find the courage to discover their own callings and
values--regardless of what these are--and eagerly move into the world
where they will make a difference.
Our programming is very diverse, catering to all different types of
people we serve, but it is all based on growth, one we hope our
visitors will encounter during their journey with us. We want to ask
what you would be willing to stand for and then help you find out,
either through weekly masses, quiet reflections, leadership
conferences, communal meals, book clubs, one-on-one conversations, Zen
meditation, or any other of our dozens of programs. We offer immersion
trips, service projects, Bible studies, ballroom dancing, to just name
a few.
We hope you will visit us often, and consider us a home away from
home. Our study lounges, kitchen, auditorium, and conference and
meditation rooms will hopefully serve as an initial incentive, while
our extraordinary staff and great coffee, as well as a myriad of
resources and our powerful programming will keep you captivated for
good.
We are located at 2420 Nicolet Drive in a small blue building
between the Kress Events Center and the Residence Halls. The Ecumenical
Center is unrivaled in hospitality, programming and enthusiasm. Come
